Contact UsWe start the process of installing our new patios by measuring the affected area of your Weston Super Mare or Portishead-based property. As the customer, we can help you choose the patio design, layout and/or paving stones you would like to use for the project.
Once this has been decided, our landscaping contractors will start by excavating the intended space so that we can provide adequate drainage to the new patio. We dig down as far as 200mm depth to mark out the area. We will then lay a supportive patio sub-base (150mm) and make sure it’s level, albeit with a slight angle to help with drainage and avoid pooling water. Next, we add a mortar bed (50mm), position the paving slabs and tamp them down. After this, we secure the slabs and leave them to set for 24 hours. We then fill the joints with pointing, sand or decorative resin, or small decorative stones, as per the client’s specification.
At the end of our hard work, you will receive a new patio space that looks stunning and matches your vision for your home or commercial property.
